If you haven't heard or if you haven't signed up for my newsletter, you may have missed that I have accepted a challenge to paint 30 Paintings in 30 Days! I have made it through the first week! In some regards it has been easier than I thought it would be and, of course, I have been challenge in areas I didn't fully anticipate!
For instance; Time management was NOT such an issue! (I know, Shocker!) ... I was prepared with pallet boards & art supplies and set up to take pics and share them through emails. I was not prepared, however, with subject matter and feel very fortunate that each board has had, it seems, it's own story to tell! From the crosshatch saw pattern on one board that seemed to scream "PINEAPPLES!!!", to the pelican shaped knot hole on another, I feel the eye of my imagination growing more in tune and sharper then it used to be!
Today is day #7 and I am at the gallery. I plan on painting my piece while I'm here today.
