So, I am sitting in my local Micky D's, determined to get this blog post up and your inbox filled with sweet splashiness!!

Sunday at the gallery was filled with visits from sweet fan-friends, deep convos with mentors and the reset of my display to fit the first five mermaids of this challenge!

I did manage to start on a small mermaid that, in spite of the business of the day, had a peaceful quiet about her. I did not sketch her on paper first, but started right on the pallet board. Although I could see her clearly in my minds eye, my hand was NOT cooperating! I think I repainted her hair 3 times, no joke! lol...

I am calling this one "Ponder"...
