Oh my goodness! This year went from zero to 💯 over night! I realized I haven't posted since the hurricane! I am so grateful to be busy and doing what I love, but I have to admit I have let it (the business) manage ME instead of ME managing the business!
Tonight I let go of one thing on the agenda and, even though it was hard to do, something magical happened! Our little family connected, peace ruled our house and love grew!
So here's a small update on big stuff! Saturn Elementary asked me to paint a mural for their 50th Anniversary! They applied for a grant from Brevard Cultural Alliance to pay for it and we just received the approval!
I got to meet Rick Piper , a native Floridian and local artist in Cocoa Beach! He curates the art at Juice n Java in Cocoa Beach and asked for several of my pieces! I felt it was the perfect opportunity to expand OVashti Art outside of Cocoa!
I have, again, been accepted to the Cocoa Beach Art Show on Thanksgiving weekend!! So I am busy creating new pieces to fill the tent!
I submitted 3 of my prints to ArtBeatzCocoa for their Electrical Box Art Wrap Project and 2 of them were accepted!! They will be installed in the near future!! Here is one of the wraps!
I am also accepting booking for holiday Painting Parties! I have 4 new pieces to choose from! Please reply to this message with the dates you are interested in and I will get back to you with my availability! These parties are a great way to connect with friends and celebrate the Season!
This November is chalk full of activities for sure!! I am grateful for it. As OVashti Art continues to grow, I hope you know that I am so grateful for YOU! This business has grown because of your support, so thank you! I hope if you come across my work in the community that you feel connected to it and realize that when I see it I think of you and all the sharing you have done!
My task is maintain my perspective! This business is for my family and connection with people not the other way around! How do you create margins in this crazy season? I would love to hear your tips and tricks!!
Big love always,
Vashti Verschoor
